What is better than a delicious smoothie bowl on a fresh spring morning? Oh yeah - enjoying one without the hefty price tag that comes with buying one at the store!
This smoothie bowl is incredibly satisfying and oh so versatile! Whether you're wanting to use up fruits you have on hand, found a bag of frozen berries at the back of the freezer, or are trying to find a way to sneak in more protein in your diet (hello collagen powder) - the possibilities are endless.
So, go on! Blend up a bowl, dive in, and start planning that summer vacation. We won't judge.
Ingredients
For the Smoothie:
1/2 banana
1 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries (we used a mix of strawberries, raspberries, and passionfruit - YUM!)
3/4 cup frozen pineapple
1/2 cup almond milk
**Note: If you want to add a bit more protein, feel free to add a scoop of unflavored collagen powder
Optional Toppings:
1/2 banana
Strawberries
Hemp Seeds (~ 2tbsp)
Shredded Coconut (~ 1 tbsp)
Pumpkin Seeds (~ 1 1/2 tbsp)
Steps
Combine all smoothie ingredients in a high speed blender or food processer and blend until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add a tbsp more of almond milk and blend.
Pour smoothie into bowl
Add desired toppings
Enjoy!
Notes:
You can make this recipe with a wide range of fruits AND veggies! Personally, we think it would be delicious with a mix of pineapple, kiwi, and spinach. But, let your imagination (and your taste buds) run wild!

After experimenting with food, I discovered my love for fresh ingredients, and now I can't get enough! The farmers market is my happy place, and if I have any spare time during the week, you can almost always find me in the kitchen trying out a new recipe.
